        You’re very welcome hpfish10. Glad to hear it was an amp fuse and not the speaker! I’d be very relieved too!

          Thanks ghenschke, I switched the speaker cables at the amp, the problem moved to the left speaker, so it is the amp, one of the right channel fuses blew. What’s a relief!

            The speaker is now as good as new, brilliant and excellent as it always was.

              When the same thing happened to me I had to send the back plate for repairs and the response was very prompt.

                Could also be your amp? Perhaps easiest to swap amp channels first?

                  This morning I turned my volume kind of high, my right A1 non-px speaker suddenly popped and started to have very distorted sound. Is it panel or backplate issue? I will swap back plates later to isolate the problem.
